Community Spaces

As the third installment in the series of designs for the topic 'Design for Democracy', I teamed up with Liz Bayan to create two books about Community in reference to the finale of 2008 election. One book is titled 'Community' and is full of text and images as they relate to the sounds and voices we recorded in certain public spaces. The second book titled 'Spaces' has the same format as the former but is about the spaces instead of the community. It was quite interesting photograph the spaces we surveyed when there weren't any people present. Non-the-less, the book is off to print through the online publishing company LuLu. Posts of the physical copy will be made once the book arrives. For the meantime, here are some of the pages from the Community book.
